Spooky rock opera comes to Buxton's Poole’s Cavern
and live on Freeview channel 276
Full-time musician Will Hawthorne, 54, wrote the 13-song concept performance over six months and says audiences can expect an entertaining yet thought-provoking night.
Poole Incarnate focuses on a historian who comes under the influence of highway robber Poole’s malevolent spirit while writing a doctorate on the legendary brigande - who is said to have hidden in the cave during the fifteenth century.

Hide AdWill, of Buxton, said: “As he delves into the past mysterious things start to happen in his life.
“This sinister spirit starts to interfere with his love life.
“It’s a spooky show but nothing too dark - it will be a good family night out.”
Vocalist and lead guitarist Will told how he took inspiration for the opera from bands such as The Who and The Kinks - who created characters in Quadrophenia, Tommy and Arthur.
