Police are appealing for help to trace a missing teenager who last seen in Buxton.

Derbyshire police have launched an appeal for the public’s help to find a missing teenager Libby.

Officers said they were concerned for the safety of the 14-year-old.

Libby, originally from the Barnstaple area of Devon, was last seen at the McDonald’s restaurant in Buxton at around 4.45pm yesterday (Thursday, October 15).

The 14-year-old, who is around 5ft 4ins tall, slim, and has a southern accent, was last seen wearing black straight leg jogging bottoms, a black cropped jacket and a grey turtle neck top.

It is believed that Libby may have travelled to the Leek area.

Anyone who has seen Libby is asked to contact the force using the 999 emergency number with reference 856-151026.
