Kinder Paranormal was set up by Jodi Goodwin, Alice Womack, Lauren Preston and Leanne Parker in April with the friends, who all live on The Glade, being fascinated by spirits and ghosts.

Now they have invested in equipment which will help them converse with the other side and record their findings.

A recent trip to Errwood Hall has cemented their views that spirits or energy live on after people die.

Jodi said: “When we got there it was empty apart from us but we managed to make contact with a young boy called Jasper who told us his mummy was trapped.

"When we heard what he was saying it was shocking and exciting.”

The group then went away and researched the hall. They choose to do this after an investigation so it does not cloud their judgement and give them any preconceived ideas.

They found out about the Grimshaw family who lived there but nothing about the boy and his trapped mother so want to return to do further investigations in the future.

The friends have attended seances previously and Leanne had a male spirit attached to her while at Eyam and this led to weeks of nightmares for her afterwards.

She said: “We come from energy and that energy doesn’t just disappear when we die, it can’t, it lives on even if the body isn’t present.

“I know ghost hunting is typically done at night but the energy doesn’t rest, it’s still there in the day and can still be found and communicated with.

"We enjoy our investigations. We are not saying we have all the answers, in fact we are out looking for answers to see a different side to the world and try and bridge the gap beyond the grave.”The group are now looking for more old pubs, houses or haunted areas to investigate and are also able to perform blessings for people who may be having trouble with spirits.

Anyone who wants to follow their journey or get them out for an investigation should contact them on Facebook, Kinder Paranormal.
