Meet the petallers who have been decorating Buxton's wells for 40 years

This year is a special year for the Buxton Well Dressing Petallers – it marks 40 years since members of the current team of volunteers started.

Back in 1986 following an advert in the Buxton Advertiser volunteers took over the role of Well Dressing petallers.

Now four decades on their are four of the original members who come together along with new volunteers to create something beautiful for the town every year.

Thank you to all the team members and check out the photos of them hard at work at St John’s Church.
