The data from NHS England, released on January 24, shows that among the 55,588 Derbyshire residents aged 80 and above, 45,760 have had the initial dose and 1,351 the second.
Among the 785,167 people aged 16-79 years living in Derbyshire, 73,217 have received their first jab and 2,030 the second.

Hide AdChesterfield mayor Councillor Glenys Falconer, who had her first jab at the town’s Winding Wheel, said: “I’m really impressed with the way vaccines are being rolled out. I would encourage everyone to take this up and help us to ensure that we can protect the most vulnerable in our community.”
Derbyshire Joined Up Care is 16th in a nationwide table out of 45 health care partnerships for the highest percentage of 80+ residents to have received their first vaccinations.
