The company has introduced the free travel on buses operating in Derbyshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester – with NHS workers simply needing to show their NHS ID to the driver in order to get free travel.

Explaining the move, High Peak Buses Managing Director Matt Evans said: “I am very pleased to introduce free bus travel in Derby, Derbyshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester making travelling by bus an attractive option for NHS workers who are working tirelessly on our behalf to ensure we remain safe and well throughout the year and even more so during these challenging times.”
