Motorcyclist dies and passenger fights for life after crash
A man has died in a motorcycle collision in the High Peak.
The collision between a motorcycle and a car happened on Thursday, May 12, about 7.35pm, on the A6 between King Sterndale and Cowdale.
As a result, the 48 year-old man who was driving the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries and a 42 year-old female passenger was taken to Northern General Hospital with life threatening injuries.
