Man with Ashfield links absconds from Derbyshire prison

A man has absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire.

Shane Stroughton absconded from HMP Sudbury on Tuesday, February 23.

He was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court in July 2008 and was serving an indeterminate sentence for grevious bodily harm.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, medium build, he has a shaved head and a scar on the top of his head.

He has links to Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
