Man dies after Buxton crash
A man has died after a serious collision in Buxton.
Police were called to the A6 Bakewell Road, near the Morrisons supermarket, just after 2.30am following reports that a van had collided with the male pedestrian, who suffered serious injuries.
Officers closed the road to carry out investigations.
The road reopened shortly after 8am and police thanked motorists for their patience.
The man has not yet been formally identified.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 33 of April 19.
