High Peak school evacuated after fire
A High Peak school has been evacuated after a fire.
The incident took place at Chinley Primary School at 11.30am this morning (Wednesday, January 3).
Firefighters from Chapel and Glossop attended the blaze which was found to have started in an electrical room.
All the pupils were safely removed from the building before the fire service extinguished the fire.
The National Grid also attended the school to make the scene safe.
