Help to shape future of area’s health services
The meeting at the Pavilion Gardens, between 6pm and 8pm, has been organised by NHS North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to give people a chance to make their voices heard on potential changes to the services it provides to more than 288,000 residents.
One major change being considered is the partial transfer of funding and health workers from the area’s hospitals to multi-skilled teams working in the community.

Dr Ben Milton, Chair of NHS North Derbyshire CCG, said: “We need your views to help us turn our ideas into firm proposals that we’ll consult on later in the year. It’s important we all share responsibility for making decisions about how to respond to the challenges the NHS faces.
“The pressures on local health services mean we have to work more smartly and more closely with partner organisations to deliver improved outcomes for patients while managing increased demand. The public’s views will help us design health and social care services that are truly patient focused.”
People attending the meeting at the Pavilion Gardens will also hear about the progress of the CCG. To book a place, call 01332 868732 or email [email protected]. Soft drinks will be served from 5.30pm.
