Grass fire on Eccles Pike started by glass bottle was a 'close call'
The National Trust have said a fire on Eccles Pike started by a glass bottle was a 'close call.'
Fire fighters from Bolsover attended the fire which spanned approximately 200 square metres of grass and undergrowth today
Speaking on the fire in Eccles Pike, Whaley Bridge the service said: "This was believed to be caused by a glass bottle left in the sun. Please bin your litter."
