Glossop charity’s birthday abseil in Soweto

To celebrate its 10th birthday 11 volunteers from Glossop charity The Winnie Mabaso Foundation will be abseiling down the 103-metre high Orlando Towers, in Soweto, on March 21.

The team, including founder Lisa Ashton, pictured, will be raising money for outdoor play equipment, toys and materials to start a vegetable garden at the charity’s new orphanage Ilamula House, in South Africa.
