Officers are asking residents to remain vigilant and to secure their property from being targeted by criminals, especially in the run up to Christmas.

Ensure that the property and any sheds, garages or outbuildings are properly secure and that valuables are security marked and kept out of view from would-be thieves.

Make sure that any tools and gardening equipment are locked away and not left in the garden for thieves to access as these could be used to break into your home.

Anyone with information about the incident or knows the whereabouts of the items is asked to contact PCSO Anthony Boswell on 101, quoting crime number 52302/14.

Alternatively, you can also report a crime anonymously by call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
