Fashion show helps children's charity

Soroptimists International Buxton and District held a fashion show at Cavendish Golf Club recently and raised almost £700 for the Thomas Theyer Foundation.

The charity is in memory of Thomas Theyer, a local schoolboy, who had a passion for running.

When he died, family and friends set up the charity to provide accommodation at Whitehall Outdoor Pursuit Centre for children with additional needs.

The cheque was presented by president Chris Campbell and members to Thomas’ mother.
