Hide AdDerbyshire County Council’s Deputy Cabinet Member for Children and Young People Councillor Jim Coyle said: “Making sure children in Derbyshire get the most out of education is one of our main priorities.
“By offering schools this money, children will be able to learn in improved conditions.”
“While our budget is tight, we are prioritising where we spend taxpayers’ cash so we can make the biggest difference.”
This latest funding means the county council has invested £648,100 in jointly-funded school improvements across Derbyshire since April 2014.
