Derbyshire Police re-open A6 in the Peak District after serious crash

Police have re-opened a section of the busy A6 in the Peak District after a serious crash closed the road overnight

The A6 Chapel-en-le-Frith bypass was closed between Chapel en le Frith and Whaley Bridge due to reports of a serious collision at just after 11pm last night..

Drivers were warned of delays and to find an alternative route for their journey.

However, police say the road has now been re-opened.
