Day of sunshine and showers for Derbyshire

Showers will occasionally be heavy, mainly this morning, with some becoming wintry, especially over high ground, though there will still be no significant accumulations of snow. The wind will gradually ease a little through today and the maximum temperature will be seven degrees centigrade.

Tonight will see clear spells and isolated showers, with temperatures quickly falling. Overnight it will become cloudier with scattered showers, some perhaps being wintry initially over high ground before temperatures rise a little. The minimum temperature will be one degree centigrade.
