Derbyshire Constabulary issued an appeal for help to find Constantia Carr-Winterburn, of Whaley Bridge, and Lillie Almond, of Dove Holes, after the families of both girls had not heard from them since they left to go to school this morning (26 November).

The appeal was shared thousands of times online.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said: “Earlier this evening, we shared an appeal with you about two 11-year-old girls, who had gone missing from the High Peak earlier today.
