Police concerned for safety of missing High Peak teen

Police are concerned for the safety of a teenage girl missing from the High Peak area.

Ashna Esmail was last seen yesterday evening after being dropped off with a friend in Ashton-under-Lyne, in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

The 17-year-old has only recently moved to Derbyshire but has links in both Greater Manchester and also in Newcastle upon Tyne, and may be heading there.

Police are growing concerned for her welfare and are asking members of the public to contact us if they have seen her or knows where she is now.

Ashna was last seen wearing a black and grey crop top, grey tracksuit bottoms, a black bubble-style coat and trainers.
