Drugs seized after police stop vehicle in Whaley Bridge

Members of the Buxton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a stop search on Buxton Road on Wednesday night.

Posting on Facebook, the team said a vehicle and its driver were both searched with a positive outcome as class B drugs were found and seized.

The team also conducted high visibility patrols throughout the night and spoke to members of the public regarding recent burglaries in the area.
