Are you feeling festive or bah humbug?
Last year in the UK a whooping 10 million turkeys were eaten over the festive period at a cost of £170 for a family of four with all the trimmings. But what is it for you, do you have the traditional turkey or will it be a beef joint or maybe even nut roast in your house?

Now here in the office we have decided that Christmas decorations will be going up on the walls on December 1, I mean we still have the sticky tape with left over tinsel stuck to the ceiling from 2004 but never mind it’s a tradition!

And when you think you are hearing dying cats don’t worry it will just be me singing anything from Cliff Richard’s Mistletoe and Wine to Bo Selecta’s Proper Crimbo.

This isn’t about me loving Christmas (I so do by the way) we want to know about your traditions and how ready you are and what jobs you aren’t looking forward to.

Does your nana stock up on the biscuits when they are on Bogof? Who can’t stay awake during The Queen’s speech?

Did you know 1.7bn Christmas cards are sent each year in Britain? But do you buy the cards in the January sales or leave it till the last minute and spend hours fighting over the last card in the shop that says ‘to the both of you’?

We want to hear from you about all things Christmassy,

Does you neighbour put their decorations and lights up way to early, snap a pic and send it in, better yet email me their number so I can have a chat with them.

If you buy your presents throughout the year drop me a line and let me know why. Or have you and your other half put a ban buying each other gifts to save money because we want to talk everyone about how they will be spending the holidays.

You can email me on [email protected] or ring me on 01298 767081.

Happy Christmas folks!
