The B5056 Bowers Hall Road, which links the A6 and Youlgreave, has been closed to allow reconstructive work to take place to a collapsed retaining wall which has seen a 20-metre stretch of the road subside.

The closure is expected to be in place for six weeks as work is needed to redirect a water main which is beneath the road.

Diversionary routes are signposted on site via the A6, A5012 and B5056.
