Chapel-en-le-Frith hairdresser retires after 34 years

A Chapel-en-le-Frith hairdresser has cut her last head of hair, after retiring after more than three decades of service.

Kathy Byatte, of Kathy’s Salon, on Market Street, stepped down after snipping barnets for 34 years.

The seasoned stylist was presented with a surprise bouquet of flowers by colleagues Jill Ridgway and Linda Ellis, who have worked in her salon for most of her time in business.
