CCTV IMAGES: Appeal after man seen acting suspiciously in New Mills

Officers from the New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team are asking for the public's help after a man was seen acting suspiciously in the town.

At around 3.40am on Monday, June 27, a man was seen to walk down the driveway of a property along Batemill Road and inspected the homeowner’s vehicle. Several other vehicles in the area were also targeted on the night and items stolen.

Police have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.
