Cars stolen from two Derbyshire towns

Police are investigating after cars were stolen from two Derbyshire towns.

Sometime between 11pm on Sunday, August 30 and 8am the following morning, thieves broke into a house on Glebe Road, Buxton.

They searched the kitchen before taking a set of car keys and driving off in the homeowner’s white Vauxhall Insignia.

Meanwhile, sometime between 12.30am and 1am on Monday, August 31, offenders broke into a house on Meadow Lane, Long Eaton.

They took a set of car keys then drove off in the homeowner’s white Audi A3.

They also stole a computer, a set of golf clubs and a Polar watch.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
