Car bursts into flames after Winnats Pass crash

Winnats Pass has reopened after a two-car crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to the collision, which involved an Audi and a Citroen, at 8.20am.

One of the cars was on fire and a man was taken to hospital in Stoke.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said his injuries are not life-threatening.

It is not clear exactly how the crash happened.

The road was closed for about six hours.
