Staff at Edinburgh Woollen Mill, on the Colonnades, at the Quadrant, raised more than £100 by holding a bake sale, a raffle and a sponsored cycle on a gym bike.

While service users and support workers at Moore Care homes on Manchester Road and Lascelles Road raised more than £300 by dressing in red, hold a cake sale and a guess the name of the teddy game.

Sarah Wild even dyed her hair red for the heart disease charity.
