A High Peak legal firm has thrown its support behind British Superbike ace Christian Iddon.
Thorneycroft Solicitors has reached a sponsorship agreement with the Hayfield rider, who competes for the Tyco BMW Factory team in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
He currently sits ninth in the standings ahead of the final race of the season at Brands Hatch this weekend.
A spokesperson for Thorneycroft said: “Thorneycroft Solicitors work closely with numerous motorcycle groups and charities, and by sponsoring Christian Iddon aim to give back to a sport that is enjoyed by millions of people across the UK each year.
“Christian’s drive, determination and professional attitude reflect the ethos of the company and Thorneycroft’s are proud to be associated with him.”
Iddon has been competing in motorcycle sports, both domestically and internationally, since the age of six.
He has a deep heritage that lies in motorsport, with his father establishing himself as a competitive road racer, competing in British Championships, European Championships and the famous TT race which is held annually in the Isle of Man.
Thorneycroft said they hoped their support would help the rider maintain his high level of performance and fulfil his lifelong mission to become one of the best riders in the world.
Iddon joins an exclusive group of individuals and organisations from the local area which Thorneycroft Solicitors now support, including Buxton FC, Buxton Rugby Club and Chris Hill Community Sports.
