Opera Ballet International and Ellen Kent have collaborated on the production which features international soloists, chorus and full orchestra.

Carmen tells the story of a gipsy girl who works in a factory with a group of smugglers, targeting Seville. She lures Don José away from both his responsibilities as a soldier and his lover Micaëla – but as his passion for Carmen intensifies, jealousy takes over when he discovers she loves the bull-fighter Escamillo.
