A massive boom in small-scale craft breweries over the last couple of decades means beer drinkers now find themselves with more local options than ever before.
While the date on everyone’s lips is April 12 – when beer gardens across the country will reopen – there is no need to wait to get your hands on a cold can of something tasty, or three.
For those in Chesterfield and beyond who like to sup and support local, we have put together a list of the best independent craft breweries in the area currently offering delivery.
In these confusing and worrying times, local journalism is more vital than ever. Thanks to everyone who helps us ask the questions that matter by taking out a subscription or buying a paper.

7. Wolds Farm Brewery, South Barn, Cavendish Road, Matlock
A family-run business opened in 2014. Having started by supplying a few bottles to the local newsagents, it now supplies many places in the Derbyshire Dales and the wider Peak District. The brewing kit is housed in what was a disused former wooden farm building which was starting to fall into disrepair.
