Choir aids Health Poverty Action charity
The Winster based chamber choir, Wyns Tor Singers, led by Carol Taylor, will provide the music with madrigals and folk songs along with melodies made famous by artists such as Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys.
The songs will be interspersed with poetry readings on the same themes.

Hide AdSpring Is In The Air, a joint venture between the choir and The Youlgrave Bangbutt Village Links charity, is being staged to raise funds for the charity’s Sierra Leone projects.
The concert is on Friday, March 4, at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 from Youlgrave Post Office (Parker’s Butchers) and Peak Feast in the village or can be reserved on 01629 636570. It is a bring your own food and drink event with cutlery, crockery and glasses provided.
The Youlgrave group helps fund the activities of Health Poverty Action which is working to reduce the mortality rate among women and babies during pregnancy and birth and to provide health education and contraception advice.
