Ancient tales set to music

A mesmerising combination of folk music and storytelling is coming to the High Peak.

Spring Bank Arts Centre in New Mills will host The Forbidden Door on Friday, April 15.

Performance storyteller Dominic Kelly will breathe life into folklore tales - of love, loss, drama, danger, horror, humour and extraordinary plot twists. He will be joined by three skilled musicians (cello, fiddle and guitar) whose folk music provides the soundtrack.
