Forgotten pictures of the people and performers inside Buxton Opera House - the jewel in the crown of the Peak District
Legendary names like the Osmonds and Ken Dodd have graced the stage of Buxton Opera House, which was home of the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival for many years.
From touring West End shows like Mamma Mia and Hairspray and international visitors putting on circus shows, opera, ballet, as well as pop stars and comedians and the much loved family shows like The Snowman, Peppa Pig or the annual panto the 1903 built Matcham theatre has welcomed everyone over the generations.
But as well as the the big names the Opera House has worked with schools, dance and community groups and the people behind the scenes are as important so see who you can spot in these pictures going back to 1999.
