A Bamford smash leaves motorists needing to be cut out of their vehicles

Multiple casualties were freed from their vehicle following a collision on the A57.

The smash happened on Friday, January 15 just after 8pm and all emergency services were called to attended the scene.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Hathersage on call and the Bradwell red crews both attended a road traffic collision on the A57 near to Bamford.

"The crews had to extricate the casualties and handed them into the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service Trust.”
