These are the High Peak pharmacies open over the Easter weekend

A number of pharmacies in the High Peak will be closed but here are the details of the ones that will be open this Easter weekend.

Good Friday, April 2

Boots Pharmacy, 62 Spring Gardens, BUXTON, 01298 23084 – 9am to 5.30pm.

Superdrug Pharmacy, Spring Gardens Centre, BUXTON, 01298 23195 – 8.30am-5.30pm

Easter Sunday, April 4

Fairfield Pharmacy, 139 Victoria Park Road, Fairfield, BUXTON, 01298 25083 – 9am-11am

Easter Monday, April 5

Boots Pharmacy, 62 Spring Gardens, BUXTON, 01298 23084 – 10am-4pm.

Buxton Urgent Treatment Centre at Buxton Hospital on London Road is open from 8am to 8pm every day. Patients are advised to call NHS 111 first so call handlers can do an initial assessment and book the patient for a same-day appointment at their nearest Urgent Treatment Centre if that is the most appropriate place for them.

Anyone who needs urgent care is asked to think 111 first. The team at NHS 111 will be able to assess you and if you need it, book you a time slot to be seen at a hospital. The NHS 111 number is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition, for anyone with coronavirus concerns, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell people if they need medical help. Advice on what to do is available at www.111.nhs.uk/covid-19/.
