There are now more than 2,200 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Derbyshire.

According to the latest Government statistics, 2,217 people have tested positive for the virus – 1,643 in Derbyshire county and 574 in Derby city.

How many confirmed coronavirus cases are there in my Derbyshire area?

The following numbers for Derbyshire’s lower tier local authorities were released at 4.15pm on Saturday.

Amber Valley – 192 confirmed cases

Bolsover – 150 confirmed cases

Chesterfield – 221 confirmed cases

Derby city – 574 confirmed cases

Derbyshire Dales – 153 confirmed cases

Erewash – 181 confirmed cases

High Peak – 204 confirmed cases

North East Derbyshire – 313 confirmed cases

South Derbyshire – 229 confirmed cases

Throughout the UK, there are currently 257,154 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

A total of 36,675 people have now died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus.
