The Government hopes 15 million people – the over-70s, healthcare workers and those required to shield – will be vaccinated by mid-February.
On Monday, Health Secretary Matt Hancock revealed 2.3 million people in the UK have now had their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) – which is managing the vaccine roll-out across the county – has so far opened nine sites for the jabs.
A CCG spokesperson said: “Vaccinations will be rolled out to more sites over the coming days and weeks – as the vaccination programme continues to build momentum.”
Vaccinations are all by appointment only.
People should not contact their GP about a vaccination unless asked to do so and they should not attend any vaccination site without an appointment.
Here is a list of the nine sites in Derbyshire which are now offering Covid-19 vaccinations.
