It’s been a struggle for lots of parents juggling homeschooling with work and other responsibilities while schools had less than 24 hours notice to organise everything needed for online teaching.

So we’re now asking High Peak parents and carers to tell us who they would like to thank for their support during what has been a difficult time.

Maybe a specific teacher has really helped you with homeschooling, or a school has gone above and beyond and deserves praise for their work during this lockdown, or any of the previous ones last year.

The Buxton Advertiser will be sharing messages from parents praising High Peak schools and teachers who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic, or just helped to make things easier.

Let us know of any teachers or schools you’d like to highlight for their help, and we’ll share your messages.

To get involved, email your message to [email protected], telling us who you want to give praise to, and why.
