Hotel group takes on a new identity
The company manages a portfolio of 21 properties that includes the 122-bedroom Victorian hotel in the High Peak spa town.
The rebranding from Puma Hotels Collection to The Hotel Collection is with immediate effect, with the company insisting the change will have no impact on the day-to-day running of The Palace Hotel, its employees or its name.

“We will continue our focus on providing excellent customer service through high quality management both centrally and throughout our individual hotels.”
Originally operated under the name Paramount Hotels, the chain of hotels was leased to Barceló Hotels in 2007, but the Spanish company terminated its 45-year lease agreement in 2012 and the portfolio was relaunched under the Puma Hotels Collection.
