Wirksworth Community Theatre to share dramatised readings

Dramatised readings of health-related works will be shared in a cinema setting.

Members of Wirksworth Community Theatre will take centre stage at the town’s Northern Light Cinema on Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21.

The evening will include a reading of Safe In Our Hands by local writer Chris Thompson and a reading of the play Dr Knock, written by Jules Romains in 1923.

There will also be extracts from speeches by political figures in an evening which explores medicine and health care in the past, present and future.
