Tributes to Billy Fury, The Blues Brothers and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons feature in a selection of live music events over the coming month at Buxton Opera House.

Thirty-one years since the death of ‘Britain’s own Elvis’ Billy Fury, the original Fury’s Tornados will be on the Opera House stage on Saturday, March 7. Halfway to Paradise The Billy Fury Story will see the band performing timless hits in front of original screen projections, led by Colin Gold as Billy Fury.

The following week (Friday, March 13) The Blues Brothers Experience is back in town to recreate the iconic performances of Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi, with backing from their ten-piece band. The concert will feature hits from the movie soundtrack.

Let’s Hang On will also lift spirits on Sunday, March 15, taking audiences on a musical journey through the history of one of the most successful bands of all time – Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The anthology of hits will include Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Bye Bye Baby and December 1963 (Oh What A Night!), Walk Like A Man and Sherry.
