Second Fringe deadline approaches

The end of March second early bird deadline is looming and the Buxton Festival Fringe is already beginning to fill up.

The Fringe, which runs from July 8-26 and showcases the best in new and seasoned performances, now has over 60 acts signed up and the standard is looking as high as ever.

With award-winning comedy from Charles Adrian Gillott with his show Stories about Love, Death and a Rabbit and Titus Andronicus from Fringe Award-winning Smooth Faced Gentlemen, as well as Fringe favourites such as family show, Tiny! Pirates and their Friends by Stone and Water, the return of the Buxton Art Trail and American bluegrass from Aprille and the Shower, it is set to be a great Fringe.

Keith Savage, chairman of the Fringe said: “The whole committee becomes excited at this time of year when we see the programme begin to full up. It is brilliant to welcome back artists we know well, as well as meet fresh new talent. It is this time of year the Fringe really starts to begin again.”

The deadline for the last early entry offer of £70 is March 31, with the final deadline for inclusion in the printed programme being April 19.
