Running order announced for Buxton Rocks music festival

Some of the country’s biggest tribute acts will be performing live alongside a host of local bands and DJs during the all-day event at the Pavilion Gardens’ Octagon from 1pm. The first of the local musical offerings will be The Hangtown Thieves at 1.20pm, followed by: The Vermonts (2.10pm), 50 Shades (2.55pm), and the Vipers, (3.40pm).

Motorheadache will be the first of the tribute acts to take to the stage at 4.15pm, followed by Flew Fighters (5.15pm), Link 182 (6.15pm), Pearl Scam (7.15pm), Small Weller (7.15pm) and Guns or Roses (9.15pm).

There will be stalls selling everything from music memorabilia and records to rock jewellery and sweets, plus food and drink vendors.

Admission is £10. Tickets are available in Buxton from Divine Trash, Muzik and More, the Tradesman’s Cafe and Buxton Tourist Information Centre in the Pavilion Gardens. Alternatively, call 07581 416771.
