Prince Edward to visit theatre for 150th birthday celebrations
Prince Edward will be visiting a Victorian theatre in the triumphant finale to its 150th birthday celebrations.
The Earl of Wessex will meet the cast and company of HOOD - The Legend during his visit to Nottingham’s Theatre Royal on Friday, September 25. He will also cut a cake, designed to look like the iconic theatre.
Robert Sanderson, the Theatre Royal’s managing director, said: “We couldn’t be more delighted that His Royal Highness will be visiting us on our special anniversary. As one of the jewels in Nottingham’s crown, it is wonderful that the Theatre Royal is being honoured in this way.”
