Photographer shares his adventures at festival

New Mills based adventure and travel photographer Lukasz Warzecha is hosting a Peak District photography workshop with a private underground shoot at Poole’s Cavern.

He is also giving an illustrated lecture about his career as part of Buxton Adventure Festival.

He said: “I’ve been shooting professionally for more than five years now, it’s been a sky rocketing career.

“I have to take part in the activities to get the best images. The best example is a recent commecial assignment for National Geographic. Over the course of five days I had to do sea kayaking, road cycling, mountain biking, scrambling and sailing. Although I’m never in any of the photographs, my job is to take the viewer or film audience as close to the action as possible.”

Lukasz’s Poole’s Cavern workshop is 7am and his talk at the Pavilion Arts Centre is 10.30am on October 12. Contact www.buxtonadventurefestival.co.uk/speakers-films/workshops
