Everest climber kicks off adventure festival
Everest mountaineer Kenton Cool will be talking about his daring climbs when he launches the Buxton Adventure Festival.
The 11-times summiteer of the world’s tallest mountain shares his story at the town’s Pavilion Arts Centre on Saturday, November 7.
Kenton will be talking about his latest expedition - attempting a new line to the summit of Nanda Devi East, one of India’s most challenging mountains.
Canadian climber and adventurer Heather Geluk will kick off the evening, talking about her mountaineering achievements which include many of the Himalayan giants.
