Dallas Buyers Club to be shown at Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre Studio
A biographical movie will be next on the silver screen in Buxton Film’s autumn season.
Dallas Buyers Club will be shown at the Pavilion Arts Centre Studio on November 27.
Matthew McConaughey plays an AIDs patient diagnosed in the mid-1980s. The patient smuggled unapproved pharmaceutical drugs into Texas for treating symptoms, and distributed them to people with AIDS by establishing the Dallas Buyers Club while facing opposition from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
