Comedian Jo Caulfield brings new stand-up show to Buxton

She comes to Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre on June 27, armed with razor-sharp observations and scandalous one-liners.

Jo shares her opinions on everything from women who always pick the wrong partner and men who continually quote gangster films, to families arguing on trains and the growth of passive-aggressive corporate friendliness.

She also confesses to a romantic break that almost ended in divorce, re-enacts the world’s worst birthday party and explains why her husband could never be a serial killer. The show is not all one-sided as audiences are actively encouraged to join in and share their own opinions.

Jo’s insightful comedy has seen her be nominated as the Best Female Comic in the UK, making her a popular guest on shows such as The Politics Show and The Apprentice, You’re Fired!

She is a regular on many TV and radio panel shows, including Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You. Her new radio series The Good, The Bad & The Unexpected will be recorded this year for BBC Radio Scotland.

Jo’s live show in Buxton on June 27 is suitable for 16 years and over. Tickets cost £16.
