Buxton Musical Society in concert
Buxton Musical Society’s concert in the town’s St John’s Church on March 22 will include the following soloists:
Stephen Barlow, the artistic director of Buxton Festival, who will play Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 27.
Robin Allegra Parton, a member of Worcester College Choir, who will sing the soprano in Beethoven’s Mass in C. She is joined by three Buxton Festival Young Artists: Adam Kowalczyk – tenor, Sophie Dicks – Mezzo and Benjamin Lewis – bass all of whom are now embarking on careers in opera and oratorio.
